Munkey Industries LLC is a full-service theatrical provider, offering training, consulting, service, and design for all areas of theatre and live entertainment.

Munkey Industries was founded to fill a void in the theatrical industry in the Midwest. There are very few technical resources available to Schools, Colleges, Universities, Community and Professional Theatres, and everyone else who doesn't fit one of those "standard" labels.

Founded by a theatrical practitioner with over 18 years of experience in the design and technology fields of the industry, Munkey Industries has the expertise, training, and certifications to help on the smallest of projects to much larger scale projects.

Owner Jonathan Allender-Zivic wants to make sure that people in the region have access to training, service, and expertise for whatever they may need to get their production off the ground. Jonathan holds an MFA in Design and Technology from Western Illinois University, and has been working in the academic and professional theatre realms as a Technical Director, Lighting, Sound, and Projection Designer as well as trainer, consultant and so much more for over 18 years. Jonathan is an Electronic Theatre Controls (ETC) certified contract trainer for the EOS family of consoles as well as a ETC Authorized Service Provider. He holds US, Canadian and EU patents for Cable Munkey the product he invented to make cable management easier in the live entertainment space. In addition he is also a co-author of Stage Management Basics: A Primer for Performing Arts Stage Managers.
